Good morning to the gang on CTT. Need somemore pictures from all and a video from Buckeye [it might snow in Ohio???] . Really neat stuff on here lately. As for all you guys that have to go to W--K [4 letter cuss word for us retired folks], have a good day and slip on the net and keep us retired folks awake. Now for Elliot [neither retired nor works], he always has a good day. [:)] Me, I have to get ready to fly to Orlando to Bass Pro Shops [BPS from now on] tomorrow, talk to fishermen and look at all their discounts. Hard life. Hey, helps finance trains. For all of you that live in Texas [mainly Jim], ther is no help for you. [;)] God bless you all.

Chief,

Here is my on line resume for you to give the folks at Bass Pro Shops.

I’m looking forward to working with you and the other good folks at Bass Pro.

BTW, I like the name Chief; it lends a mystic touch to the forum.

Buckeye, pretty good. Happy bunch. Sounds like you all grew up like I did. I have always wanted to fish Canada. Love those walleye. Taste good to me. [:D] Have to travel to find them here. Would love to "get a hold of" a Northern. Been to Canada a lot in the 80's and 90's but never got to fish. My trips end in May. Then I usually fly to Texas and fish.

Hey Chief, I thought Lake Eire was the place for Walleye Fishing. I have done it a few times and loved it. Just didn't care for the cool spring days, when the fishing was best.

I like the warm summer days, but the fish don't

Hey Spankybird. Been there and done that. Made several trips to Erie. Caught some nice ones. They say Canada is better and they are bigger there. Enjoy the day.

Thanks Frank, never been a coffee drinker, but I love the smell. Now if you have some donuts.....[dinner][dinner][dinner][(-D][(-D][:P][swg]

Today, I have to run out and pick up some stuff, and thought I would go on a DIAMOND HUNT. No, not those little clear sparkley things, a real diamond, you know, where two tracks cross. All of that talk about flanges got me curious, so I'm going on a fact finding mission.

As for fishing WHAT DO YOU MEAN WISCONSIN????? Take the few extra minutes and come to MINNESOTA!!! We don't just have great fishing, we have great TRAINS!!! WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT IN A VACATION????

Brought to you by the Minnesota department of tourism.[;)][:D]

Coffee sounds good to me !
Our fresh water fishing is the pits, if you want some good fishing you need access to a boat and head out to sea.
Plus it is a good excuse to visit the San Diego Model Railroad Museum.

Thanks for the visits guys. On the fishing boards, we do this every morning. Gives everyone a chance to check in and tell something about the weather, what they are doing or what they plan to do. Thought I'd try it on this forum and see if the guys liked it. Seems to make friends and brings everyone together. This morning on one fishing board, the big topic was what to name the new puppy.[:D] Hope this is OK with everyone.

...we could name my new diesel when I get it. Still in the negotiation stage with the dealer, but we're close! Never had anything with ditch lights before...might look cool with the room lights off.

Orlando ????

It is 37 degrees, windy and rainy this morning in Roger's Corners, Ohio. Looking out the window I just saw Max, the wonder dog taking his morning walk and up on the hill, Heidi is tending the herd.

After ten tries it finnaly let me in. Have to log in everytime I change a page. Guess cookies turned of. Only way it would recognize me initally was to try to reregister under another name and it said email addres already in use. Then entered user name and password and then let me get in. Crazy. Well all you Yanks, sunny FL. Dis not think they were going to let me in. Had to circle GA for 35 minutes. Jacksonville FAA computer went down. No planes could enter or fly out of FL. Sleep late tomorrow as they do not want us at BPS until noon. :) [Will not show Smilie List]. Good night guys.

Good morning Chief,
Well I hope you are having a rewardable trip to sunny Orlando. I posted a photo on Spankybird's topic, AP New Flash, of the snow yesterday in Cleveland. Driving back I encountered very slick and snowy roads in the rock cuts near Mansfield and Ashland, Ohio. Several cars in the ditch. Did get a decent photo of CSX mainline in the snow.

Tell me more about that retirement thing.

Off to work.

Forget lunch. [:D] You and your wife will be my guests at my favorite restaruant in Berea sometime this summer. I want you to hear (and feel) those big engines roar. Please don't bring all of those kids you had in that photo, I would be bankrupt feeding them.[dinner]

Hey Chief,
Rise and shine. Let's get back to work. Roger's Corners, Ohio, ELV 936 reports a temperature of 40 degrees at 7:00am. (6:00 in Gopher Land. ) Clear skys. Don't eat too much or your plane seat back home will be too small.

HI Buckeye,

Well it’s 42 deg in Willoughby and sunny for now. The bad guys are saying maybe an inch or two of white stuff tonight.

Dinner sounds great, and we will leave the kids and Spanky at home. Spanky is worst than my dog for wanting people food.

Let me know when, hopefully we will have temp in the 70’s or so.

Frankaroni - 80 degrees and cloudless in Austin...so I guess those neighbor ladies will be out again this weekend in their bikinis tending to their tulips and bluebonnets...I'll see if any of them like to fish (wink).

Boy, do I miss the snow!
