What is that beautiful Williams C&O engine on the back cover of the current CTT?

Hmm, I think it is an E7 - the one in my catalog is numbered 95.

Williams makes beautiful diesels and reasonable prices. I've purchased all of their Santa Fe blue & yellow diesels except for the full-sized trainmaster, which Santa Fe never purchased. I might consider a F-M demonstrator model, as one was actually used over the line at El Cajon. A baby trainmaster in Santa Fe would be to my liking as well.

Also, Williams diesels are prime candidates for kitbashing; adding details like full-brightness LEDs, connecting the motors in series to slow it down, adding grills and new handrails, engineer figures, and weathering. Some have even added command control but I wouldn't go that far.

Great to see William's with an ad in such a good spot too. Nice looking ad from a great company in my book. William's progress has been slow and steady, but it has been steady in the right direction!!!

When people ask me "where can I buy a train engine like the way Lionel used to make them" the answer is from Williams.

I'll find out as soon as I get back from Orlando or a day or two after. Got two NS Dash 9's on the way. Will have to set up a test track to see. Got to order some more if they are as good as everyone says. Joined their Club today and got the NS box car free [well with membership, same price I think]. They had sold out of NS cabooses [my first choice]. Get ready Marty, as I do some more shows, I'll be calling.[8D]

What is this Williams Club everyone mentions? I saw nothing about it on their website. Nor did the recent ad mention the club. What NS box car do they make Chief? The older style NS that has the serif type NS logo or the new Norfolk Southern?
