The one is a engine it saids NYC$STL and has a number 779 on the back. Now the other two are in box and the one is a locomotive and it has the number 6139 on it I belive it is 4-6-2 heavy pacific and the car that is in there with it is chippewa. Could someone please help me out here? Thanks.

The trains you have would be HO scale. If you want to identify exactly what it is you have, I'd check out this website: http://tycotrain.tripod.com/ahmhoscaletrainscollectorsresource/ . As far as value goes, I'd look on ebay to see what things are selling for on there. This forum is for larger trains. If you have any more questions, I'd recommend asking them in the Model Railroader forums, where most of the HO enthusiasts hang out and you'd get much more responses.
