Trainbrain you may try going to the Bachmann trains website and goto ask bachman as the main repair guy and I believe jerry williams stops in from time but the the main repair guy he had
( ie his second in command when it was williams trains ) is now working for Bachmann in the williams trains side of the house and you might get your answer there thru them.

Hello All,

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference, i.e. length, height, width, shade of colors etc. between the MTH 60' NYC Madison Passenger Cars and the Williams 60' NYC Madison Passenger Cars?  I believe the MTH have the black diaphragms at each end whereas the Williams don't, correct?

Thanks,

Trainbrain.....you probably know this already, but there is some Williams Crown Edition stuff on ebay in both the active and completed listings.  That might give you a start.  One seller has a complete C8 Southern Pacific 5 car passenger set with original boxes plus the 2 add-on cars for a Buy It Now price of $250.  I scrounged around but could find nothing on the age of these cars which were described as aluminum.

I am not shure. But the metal ones might be more desirable, and they might go up in value alittle bit more than the plastic ones, but I am still not shure. I don't know how old they are.

Williams Metal Madison Passenger Cars

I recently became the proud owner of 3 Williams Madison passenger cars.  They are labled "Crown Edition" and have metal bodies.  I've had newer Williams cars with plastic bodies.  My questions are: How old are

these metal ones? and are they more/less desirable by anyone?  Thanks, just wondering.
