787 Log Loader Remakes - Any Diff?? And Coal Towers too....
Posted by GPJ68 on Wednesday, March 24, 2004 9:36 AM
Looking to pick up a new 787 Log Loader - are there any noticeable differences (quality or operation-wise) between the Lionel (American Flyer) version and the MTH version, besides @ $70 in price? They certainly look identical picture-wise, but I've only seen the MTH version up close and operating.

Also want to get a coal loader/tower or two in the future. Anyone have opinions on the MTH coal tower vs. the Lionel (AF) Seaboard Coaler, #97 Coal Station, or #497 Coaling Station?

Looking at new releases only, not original PostWar models.

Thanks in advance!
