American Flyer & Lionel "S" revival at Sound Reg

Hello,

I am an HO kid, but one of the administrators at school found a ton, (6 steam engines, dozens of cars and countless track sections) of American Flyer and Lionel S guage. He's going to have a bunch of us students rebuild the motors and get it working. Seeing as Im going to be the most knowledgable, I figured I could ask the people who know this stuff for some tips. Suggestions on cleaning, repairing, design/operation of a layout and just about anything else relating to American Flyer is greatly apreciated. I do have a copy of the '52 manual.
