TRAIN SHOW REPORT
Posted by MA and PA JCT on Sunday, March 14, 2004 6:16 AM
**THUD**.....OWWW!!!....dropping the LAST box brought in from train show ,on my foot***

Now, that wasn't bright[oops]. Bad enough I'm tired, much less inflict personal injury......

I must say, the show at TALL CEDARS was good to me, crowd was higher than I expected, and customers were buying. For a one day show, and only about 6 HRS work, my sales were brisk. Not a lot of high ticket items, lot of small stuff like box cars, cabooses.[^]

Food was not shabby either. I think I ate up half my profits.
Train shows allways seems to draw "neebies" out of the wood work. WILLIAMS has been in business for allmost 30 years, but I was aked this question 3 times: "Williams.....never heard of them, how long they been in business?"

Question of the day was:"When will the GOLDEN MEMORIES stuff arrive?" I should've stuck a sign on my back, "late APR, early MAY"

Best happening for the day: Buddies in my train club helped me pack up and load my truck.

[|)][V] **yawn*...woof!.....ONLY 7am, I'm tired all ready. Talk atcha later!
