I run the Denver & Rio Grande PA's on 042 curves and there are no issues. There have never been any problems with any of my Williams engines. All they need is a little cleaning and a little lube and they will run a long time.

I have both the scale FA and the PA, the FA will look better on O-42 curves.

I would go with the FA's. My experience has been that four axle diesels track better than six axle ones do.

I've sold off some engines lately, and am considering purchasing either a Williams Santa Fe FA or Santa Fe PA. I like the add-on stuff on the FA, but also think the Alco's are very well done. I'm using O-42 curves, so size could be an issue. Which would you choose?
