building an incline with Fasttrack

Has anyone out there built an incline with the Fastrack? I know you start low and gradually work up the slope but is Fastrack flexible enough for inclines?

Because of FasTrack's plastic base, grades are doubtful. [8]
The same goes for MTH track. Tubular track, such as the traditional track made by K-line, Lionel, and Williams, is probably your best bet for inclines on a small layout.

In the Summer 2004 VOL. 2 Lionel catalog they will be listing a graduated tressle set for FasTrack. I read this in the VOL. 1 catalog on the FasTrack pages. So, I'm not sure what you are both talking about. Maybe I am not understanding the question?

I, as well, am a bit confused. I think we are refering to a scratchbuilt grade........or, cooker, do you mean something along the lines of a trestle set?

Actually Fastrack should work with the standard trestle set since the holes are in the exact same location as they are on the older track styles. You will need to use some screws to hold it to the clips though.

Thanks Elliot. I admit I didn't look. Tonight's the first night for FasTrack sound-deadening. The first trials will be with just screws and then I'll try the pink "foam sealR" made by owns corning. You can get a 50 foot roll of the stuff for $2.79 at Home Depot.
