I converted mine to TMCC using a Electric Railroad Mini Commander ACC. It was super simple and works great. They have an instruction sheet on it on their website. http://www.electricrr.com/ look under Examples.
The beauty of this system is you get rid of that monster box with all the levers.
It's pretty easy with a AMC module, but it could be done with the SC-1 or SC-2 with relays(these switch "ground" & are for low power/non-motor applications). One controller wire is third rail/acc power, one is for the conveyor motor, one is for the log bay release solenoid. Just apply the power to the wire for the function - this is all the 97C does.

Has anyone ever conected a 164 to their layout for control with TMCC.
If so I could use some advice and wiring logic. The 97C Controller is a 3 wire controller and I'm not sure what would go where?
