You too.

Your intrepretaion is correct. I would think that they will come out with more inexpensive engines with Legacy. However there is probably 101 ways they could market it.......
- A direct replacement for TMCC, which would mean obsolescence of TMCC
- Short term, Limited high end engine application, primarily high $, optimizing profitability through higher margin products.
My guess is that they will phase out TMCC, less applications in each catalog year and more Legacy. That will accomodate inventory transistion.

I dont know if that was a completely serious paragraph Don, or if it was meant as a sort of joke, BUT, I will interperet so, as a joke.
My serious concern is if they will ever come out with a traditional sized loco with Legacy....
But, the odds are probably against me in that ever happening.
Grayson,
From what I can tell, you deliberate for a few months on whether or not to spend the money, then you order it and wait a VERY long time. Then you get an engine. The engine is awesome! Extreme detail, biggg and heavy. Have it for a couple of days, being extremely careful with it, then it smokes anyway. So you send it off for repair and wonder how long to get it back, surpisingly it comes back pretty quick. Then you get a second moment of jubilation re-opening and unpacking it. Then you start listening to every talking about the system with anticipation on how they are going to hook it up, what features they think they will like. And you wait... then eveyone starts to get their system, so you listen with envy while they talk about what it can do, how much they like it and you wait, and wait. Then some people even get a 2nd Legacy compatible engine and you still wait, and wait. Now you can read the on-line manual that is available, or continue to watch and listen to the posts of everyone. So it requires a significant cash committment, and a whole he!! lot of patience.
However, everyone says its worth the wait. From what I understand you can "quill" the whistle, have aprolonged brake sound, run it REAAALLLLLL slow, and get a vibration in your hand.
So if you want one, order it soon, you may have it before you have children and can't afford it.
Here's my reply about a week ago when first got LEGACY....
HI GIZ,
OK the BIG NEWS is got my LEGACY!!!!!! YEA!!!
The worst thing about the system was the wait for the batteries to charge up. After the charging, I put the module chip in for the BB,. Transfered all the info into hand held and we were off and running. Neat way of starting the BB, you press start up and the voice say I'm going to start this Big BOY up now. Sounded real cool. The other great things are the speed settings for various settings, slow ,med, fast, and high balling. Where the voice comes on and says we are high balling it now, pretty cool. Also with the speed you can see by a graph how fast you're going. The one thing I couldn't find on the new Cab2 was the reverse button. I had to read this and where it is , is a toggle switch on the boost and brake button. You press in on this and toggle the reverse and forward applications. Nice big veiwing screen. I used the throttle, red L knob and really like it. You can feel the steps by way of a little click. All features worked great and the smoke unit for BB works terrific. You press the number 9 key and smoke comes on, press it again and you get the low setting, press again and get the med setting, and again get the high setting. Neato features. Only played with it for about 20 minutes but boy it sure is COOL. As the CHIEF said "IM IN LOVE". ME TOO CHIEF ME TOO." border="0" width="15" height="15" />
I'll report later on other stuff I didn't try yet.
THIS IS REALLY COOL!!!!!
And it still is really COOL!!!!

What I mean is, can yall give me examples of things improved that would affect everybody, and things that you personally find better for you benifit. I might be interested in getting this system and wanted more reason to buy it.
Thank you!
Merry Christmas,
Grayson
