Wiring Lionel dwarf signal and MTH ITAD

Thank-you for answering.  What I have is two red AND two white wires from the signal!    Maybe two are acc. and 2 are attached to ITAD?

I'm not familiar with the hardware you have but in general with a signal one wire is the power feed into the signal and the other two are the commons out.  Which light is on depends on which common is made, or not.  The one you want on, usually green, will go to the NC of the activation device, the other to the NO.

I don't know anything about the dwaft signal.  I would feed the ITAD with aux power from your MTH-4000, and then attach the signal to the Normally Open screws on the ITAD.  That way, when the ITAD is tripped, it just sends your 10VAC to your signal.  Now where you hook that up on the signal, someone else will have to help you with.  I need to buy a couple of signals soon, so I look forward to the reply as well.

How do I wire a Lionel dwarf signal--2red wires and 2 black wires--and an MTH ITAD?  Is aux. power connected to both?  Power source  is an MTH Z-4000 so either 10 or 14 volts can be used.  Sorry, I'm a new guy to wiring signals.  60 years ago lockons were used and ITADs did not exist
