Hi,

You have some nice pieces there, assuming they are relatively unharmed and with boxes.  To place a value on them without seeing them in person is almost impossible.  Actually, the value is "what someone will pay for it" and whether you are selling to an end user or a dealer.

Having bought and sold a number of postwar pieces (and a lot of boxes), I suggest you check out what's available on Ebay and compare.  One thing, on the #41 switcher, the big deal with collectors is the window struts.  They tend to be broken from being picked up incorrectly.  A broken strut can decrease value significantly.

Good luck, and frankly I hope you keep the stuff and add on to them!  But if you do sell them, in my experienced opinion, Ebay is the only way to go, and sell them separately.  And don't forget, the boxes - even beat up ones - mean a lot to collectors.

#6465  can range from $5.00 to $60.00 depends on what condition and what name or color is on the tank car, $5.00 is the low and $60.00 being the high and a black Gulf two dome tank car.

For something to grade excellant it must look like it did the day it left the factory, NO marks on it or signs of wear!  PS. you may not get these prices but they are more of a guide as to what it may bring, keep in mind it is what the buyer wants to pay not what the seller wants in the toy train market.

here is a list of the lionel trains i have and i would like to know how much i can sell these for. very little rust and no dents or chips are on them and they are all in working condition.

consider it all to be in good condition and in original boxes
