CW80 bon-bons

1. In case you don't know it, you can terminate your hook-up wires with either single or double banana plugs to take power from your CW-80 transformers -- either the old or the revised versions. With double banana plugs you can even "stack" them together if you like. I've done so for several years and like the convenience; but, as with all of my "electrical advice," I must disclaim that you do so entirely at your own risk with regard to personal injury and/or damage to equipment.

2. When "searching the literature" regarding CW80 transformers on the "other forum" you can use either CW-80 or CW80 as keywords. On this forum however, you must use CW80 (without the hypen) or you will turn up zip. For this reason I have switched over to "CW80" in all of my posts -- whenever I can remember to do so. Smile [:)]

Minor points to be sure, but maybe of use to someone, especially since the Hogwarts Express and so many other sets come with CW80's.

The revised CW80 is a thing of beauty and a joy forever! -- with apologies to John Keats, who showed remarkable prescience for someone who never ran a toy train in his life. Smile [:)]
