You touched on an interesting subject near the end of your post. Page count. Last week I received a trial issue of Scale Auto, also by Kalmbach. It was all of some 60 pages! $5.95 cover price. Now there is a hobby that's suffering.

I Got Mine!!! Early arrival of the December CTT

Good evening all,

Every once in a while, I have to toot my own horn just a little.  Friday night when I got home, the December issue of CTT was waiting for me.  A suggestion for the Tips and Tools column was published and I got a preview copy.  They have a new project layout series of articles starting with this issue.  I was looking at the plans and I thought they seemed familiar and sure enough the text referenced some HO plan in MR from a few years back.  I think I have those issues as well.  There is a nice article from Roger Carp about a layout in a mall, and an interesting "takeoff" (so to speak) on the helicopter car.  One nice trend is the number of pages is over 100 for the second issue in a row.  I hope everyone has a good day!

Keep on training,

Mike C. from Indiana
