A fun afternoon.

Just wanted to post some pic of UP 844 and my son from this afternoon. It's currently traveling through OKlahoma and had an overnight stop in El Reno tonight. We hopped in the car and drove out to see it. Hope you enjoy.

Great photos Jason.  Thanks for sharing.  Especially since it's the UP.

Daylight fan - Picture #2: print it;frame it;put it on the wall.Thumbs Up [tup]

I think SANTA should bring a MTH UP 844 to the boy this year.  Don't you, DAD?

Haha, I think you're right! Now, can we just convince mama? (She still doesn't know I ordered Hogwarts or the new Railking Daylight!)

If you do it before she finds out about the other two you could use the 'I needed these to complete the set'... or something along those lines... Wink [;)]

The only way that'll happen is if either CSX says "Sure, run her on our tracks." Or the other possibility is if the Ohio Central purchases her. I doubt we'll see her soon, but hopefully in the future. And as far as the pictures go: they are very nice. I agree that they should be framed.

You guys weren't the only ones who had a good time seeing 844! Managed to chase it for a bit Tuesday:

Took the boy to El Reno to see it Wednesday. Unfortunately, the two year old lad who normally loves trains made one pass and then wanted to see everything else in the vicinity but the train!

It's not a lie, it's a gift for fiction.

Hey, another okie! I'm envious you got to see her run! When I found out a long time ago it was coming, (back in April) I told myself I would take off a day and chase it. It came up so fast I forgot it was here until I saw it on the news. :( Anyway, I suppose there will be another time to chase it. I hope.

Thanks for posting! My lil' one is two too!
