Well I ordered mine today. I'm thinking I should have ordered two and sold the other at full price if/when they take off in popularity. Too risky eh? Anyone think it'll run curves tighter than fastrack?

I'm probably going to break up the set and sell the transformer and track. Now I just need to find a Polar Express engine and cars...

Spoke to them on Friday when I was there and they seemed to think it would be in by October.  That would work out well, as Linda wants to run it around her Halloween display.

I've pre-ordered as well, and thanks DJ. I hadn't even thought about it being a candidate for the halloween run. Has anyone seen any of the characters that could be utilized with it ?   Clown [:o)]

Sign - Ditto [#ditto]  I also ordered one through the Train-Station.  I am not a fan of Harry Potter, but do like the looks of the set.  My mother is off the boat from across the pond, so that gives a little family ties to Jolly 'ol England.  It will be interesting to see what future add ons come with this.  From all indications, this will be a hit like the Polar Express.

I also pre ordered the set.  The clincher was that the engine is diecast not plastic.Thumbs Up [tup]

I preordered through Trainz also.  It is a nice looking set, and different from all of my american style rolling stock.  Plus, my daughter is a big time Harry Potter fan. Can't wait to see it.

I ordered one from Trainz a few months ago. I saw the sample at York in April, and thought it looked great. Joe

Pre-ordered it when the Christmas Catalog came out. Hope it turns up before Xmas as its my son's present. I know quiet a few members of the  Lionel Collectors Club UK have pre-ordered it as well. Should be a big hit over here.

Just saw a advert for a O (7mm to 1ft scale) BR MK 1 coaches R-T-R in a UK magazine, they are £250 each! Makes the Hogwarts Set a absolute bargain.

Well, if not it comes with an oval of fast track. :) I have one loop of O54 so that'll be the "Potter Line."

have preordered thru Trainz.com. I realized afterwards that it states 036 radius. I'm hoping it will run on my 031 curves anyway.

Just wondering who has ordered or will order the Harry Potter train. I haven't made my order yet but I plan to. Anyone else?
