This is true about ma&pa because they probally go get there orders being that close as they save shipping fee. and dealers get the product for 50% off of retail list price so if it sells for $200.00 and our club price is $160. (20% off) there price is $100.00 so they still see $50.00 profit if they sell it to you for $150.00. I know this as freind when I lived in VA told me so. and use to sell to me for cost plus shipping plus 15%. just wish I could aford more when I was there.

Unfortunately, I don't have room in the shopping cart for a Trainmaster. They are huge, and I would need to get rid of my second pair of un-matched shoes.

If it is true that Sanda Kan made stuff for K-Line what ever happened to the K-Line inventory that was supposed to be there when K-Line went under? Lionel is listing the K-Line stuff in catalogs but is not shipping any K-Line stuff until at September or later, case in point is the K-Line Super Streets, unless some supplier bought up the K-Line Super Streets it might be possible that K-Line never made more than a few pieces in a 1000 unit run, mainly the straight track, NO curves seen as yet.
Another thing not related to trains is that Toyota makes the Lexus and the Scion models, just like Volks Wagon makes Audis and Porches and now owns Rolls Royce.

Chuck,

I'm hoping Atlas isists on quality too !! Awaiting the new Atlas steamer & hope it doesn't have to be sent back for repairs !!
Thanks, John
Sanda Kan makes O Gauge/Scale trains for Lionel, Williams, Atlas, (they did make them for K-Line before they went in the tank). They may also make the weaver diesel units but I don't know that one way or another.
There realy isn't much significance to this as the loco's are not the same even though they may originate in the same factory.
Buckeye,
Assuming it's true (and I understand that it is) the obvious next question is "Is it good, bad, or of no particular significance?"
