Can multiple contactors control 1 signal?
Posted by magicman710 on Thursday, August 9, 2007 4:28 PM

Lets say I have a 10 ft. long strech of track. I put 1 mainline color postion signal in the middle of the 10 feet. I have a contactor at each end. Can I hook up 2 contactors to 1 signal? Shuch as running the wires to 1 contactor, then attaching another wire to each of the connections on one contacotor, and run them to the next. Would this work?

Should be able to hook it up in parallel circuit wiring, making a three or four wire splice with a wirenut.

I hooked up five or six contact clips for a Lionel highway crossing signal.
