Kitbashing Old Marx 666's
Posted by lckiii on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 3:20 PM

In a box of trains I could not resist buying from a local resell shop were two Marx 666 loco's.  Both run well, but neither has leading trucks and only one has trailing ones.  Thought I might be able to combine the two to kitbash something unique.  The only 4-4 driving wheel arrangement I can think of is the Pennsy T-1 and the B&0 N-1.  I know there are good models out of the T-1 (I do not need to recreate the wheel here, just looking for something interesting to do with the old loco's)

Suggestions?

I have seen an old "Model Builder" magazine in which they did this with some old Lionels.  It would be a neat project.
Good Luck,
