Yes you did.  I was a witness.  Last time we were there, a little different.  Suggestion, don't eat at the dinner right up the street.  [right Jim]  Now I expect you all the play, Hail To The Chief everytime I sign on to the forum. Whistling [:-^]

I've been to Mountain Trains many times, and was always struck by the size of their in-store layout. It took up at least 1/2 the floor space! I always thought that space would be better utilized with retail items. Sorry to see them go. I got some real steals, I mean bargains there!

Looks like a lot of dealers are giving up.

I once bought much through them.  A good family operation and TCA members.  In recent years I gave up on "advance ordering" items with no positive delivery date. I remember when they opened, a small store accross from the Holiday Inn.   Then the move uptown to the big store.

Maybe, most dealers cann't live on "advance orders" to be delivered two or more years later.  They have to push other hobbies.

Wonder if he will be clearing items at his booth at the York show?

I was just there last month.  Seemed he was more interested in RC planes when I was in there.  Flew up to Manchester and Jim A and I visited.  Prices had gone up since I was there in Jan.  Big layout in store window.  Must move a lot.  Wife told us in Jan the y were from Florida.  Probably tired of YANKEELAND. Wink [;)]   Still sorry to hear that.  Hope somone takes it over.

Read in today's paper that my local hobby shop (http://www.mountaintrains.com) is going out of buisness in a few weeks, as the family who owns it is moving to Nebraska. Anyone in the Boston/Southern NH area might want to stop in - plenty of good deals; 20-50% off. I just got back from the shop with a pair of Railking Overton cars for $65.
