Hi jaybrac,

I'm glad you got the set running. The blue B&O 467110 might be a little less common than the red and orange variants but I wouldn't call it rare or valuable. I don't believe it's worth any more than $30. I know the common versions of the 467110 are worth about $10.

Enjoy the set! Marx trains are a lot of fun and they run forever.

New w/trains. Recieved an old marx set

I recentley recieved an old marx set from my grandfather, and I put it together to make sure everything worked, and it runs great (after alot of cleaning). I want to maybe set the trains up in a little more permanent situation, but i was afraid the train and cars possibly getting damaged in the event a dog or kid decides to play with them. I'm not to worried about most of the cars, as i found them on ebay, and they were only twenty or thirty dollars per car. However, i can't find one of them. It's a blue 467110 B&O box car. I found it in red and orange, but not blue. Not sure if i just don't see them, or if this is a rare car that i should put up? Does anyone no about this? thanks
