Last year Walmart was selling 1:48 scale die cast cars and trucks in a 8 pack for around $10.00.  I bought one pack for my son and didnt even think about the possibilities.  I went back this year to buy all they had for future layouts and sure enough.... never seen em sinceBlack Eye [B)]

here's a couple that are really cheap that i found for you to put on your layout. you can find these at any Cadillac or Chevy Dealer. you might need a crane to lift them up there but i bet they will give you the look you are looking.

this is another of my hobbies that i'm into. i like to collect cars and dress them up a little bit.

I was just at Tractor Supply.

They have white die-cast Kenworth tractor trailers for $6.97.

Types include:  Tankers, plain box trailers, and livestock trailers.  Ready for decals.

PS Nice whips Reggie!  My Wife just picked up an '07 STS4 w/ all wheel drive.  Nice ride.

I saw some 1:43-ish pickup trucks at Family Dollar that could pass for Chevy or Dodge models from about the 1975-85 timeframe, or more like 1975-1989 for Dodge. They weren't very detailed but they were in a package of two for about $3 so it'd be hard to complain.

Dollar General has a NASCAR racing Team.

If Dollar General had a NASCAR Expansion Set produced by Lionel, could they sell it in their stores, or would it cost too much to fit in with the rest of the merchandise?

Well Road Champs,MTH,K-line have imported cars in the $5.00 range and can still be found without too much looking. There is another brand in that price range but can't remember the name right now.

Dollar General stores have some nice farm equipment for very low prices and some tractor trailers if you don't mind having plastic vehicles on your layout.
