The BEEF diesel A-B unit has been delayed due to additional upgrades prior to being placed into production. Final testing is now being done to confirm the new components and BEEF operation. These additional details will surely make the BEEF a well-received O/0-27 gauge locomotive. Delivery is expected Fall, 2007.
The BEEF will be initially be available as powered A and B units in PENNSYLVANIA, BALTIMORE & OHIO, NY CENTRAL, NORFOLK SOUTHERN 'Tuxedo' and NJ TRANSIT paint schemes. Color photos are currently on the RMT website www.readymadetoys.com

Many like your product but I for one don't. I have e-mailed you on problems that I have had when you first started and never got a reply. I will always speak my mind on your products. Thank you but I have nothing positive to say for your product.

Gee, Laz, I thought all of your trains ran great. This is the first time I have heard you complain about a product in the three plus years we have been on the forum, so something must have been not very good.
My RMT products, a Beep and a caboose are great products. Worked perfect from day one.
Walter, thank you for stopping by with the news from your company.

BUCKEYE,
When the BEEPS first came out I bought one at YORK for $50. Took it home put it on the 0-27 track along with 5 Industrial Rail log cars and upon going into the second turn it derailed and kept doing so because of a stiff coupler arm. E-mailed company 2 times and never got a reply. Sold it the following week to a guy that just collects trains and doesn't run em. So kinda got my money back, sold it for $40. The unanswered emails from a company is unprofessional from a company that should stand behind there product. That's my BEEF..
Lionel has made a bobber caboose, # 6-9068, a few years ago and that would look good with the Beep.

To 'laz 57'...sorry for the problems in emailing RMT. In 2003-2004 when RMT began we were not able to access emails 100% due to spam feature and frequent virus problems. We now have a VERY secure server and hosting site and usually do not have an email problem...only time I do not receive emails are when those emails have a virus attached or imbedded.
Also, RMT no longer has a customer service @readymadetoys email address...RMT now only has 1 email address... wmatuch@readymadetoys.com. If customers have any questions, concerns or comments the email comes directly to me!
Regarding the coupler problem, this was corrected a few years ago by enlarging the coupler opening by 1mm. The problem was well documented in the toy train magazines and in updated product reviews.
The RMT phone number is 908-479-1279 in case customers need to contact our office.
Sorry for the past inconvenience in contacting RMT.

what do you think about the ideas submited in this form about a steam locomotive? the beep has a wonderfull running mechinism, but its pick-up rollers are two small to go over an o-27 turnout makeing a small steam locomotive could enable you to put rollers in the tender, thus elimanateing this problem.
Thank You WALTER for the response, I do appreciate it. No hard feelings to you or your company.
Thank you Walter for stopping by this forum, I have had no problems so far with My Two Beeps and plan on adding more to my roster as well as a Beef, Buddy and maybe the Bang(will have to see what it looks like first) I would like to see 2 more Chessie Beeps C&O and WM.
Laz thanks for voicing your opinion and experience as everything has positives and negitives you did so very strongly yet professionaly.
Adding another comment to the beep saga, I purchased mine back in 2004..Had coupler problems on 027 curves. Enlarged coupler pocket as the train magazines said. No more problems.
I like to run my equipment on average four to five hours non-stop. my Beep has over1100 hours on it. My personal experience places it in the same reliability class as my Williams locomotives. Have aWilliams Alco PA with 2245 hours on it.
thanks for letting me share with you all.

I would like to second that and add a caboose and 2 bay hopper set to the Chessie wish list.
the new hopper sets look good, theres one thing that rmt is missing... STEAM LOCOMOTIVE!

If you mean the blue orange and yellow chessie scheme yup. some where I saw a switcher loco that was chessie with the WM on it as opposed to C&O or B&O. Can Never have enough of the chessie paint scheme. Maybe this is the wrong place to bring this up but today I saw at a NS yard here in columbus a BNSF loco silver and red warbonnet scheme as I was driving by(actualy over as I was on Rt 104 heading east)and did not catch a loco number or they type I have seen there a lot BNSF orange and green locos as well.
