How to get my steamer smoking again?

Like a ignorant Dummie. I put vegitable oil in the smoker instead of the smoker fluid.
After figuring out it was the wrong stuff to use, I got the correct fluid from the store and now it doesn't hardly smoke at all. It smokes but only at high speeds and you can hardly see it.

How do I get that old Veg. Oil out of the smoker?

Short of disassembling and cleaning the smoke unit, you could try turning it upside down and let whatever oil is left drain out. Any residual oil may burn off by operating the unit. May be a slow process, though.

You could try a high end degreaser like trichloro ethane. These degeasers evaporate very quickly. Just a quick shot all the oil will be gone. These solvents are highly flamable so if you need to, dry it with compressed air. Good luck . Steven Prysok.
