What is an MRC D-2000 Master twinpack transformer?

You can use it to power lights and accessories.  The lionel crosssing gates work much better on DC, you lose the AC hum in the down position.

I found the picture on Ebay.  I don't know about its being MRC; but it was identified as a "D-2000 TWINPAK TRANSFORMER" and for HO.  Here is a link to the auction:

Bob - That's an MRC? Hard to see in the picture. Just see "Imperial". I guess I'll go for it. I just have to pay the extra shipping. Essentially what I am asking is, do you think its worth the cost of shipping? Maybe I can give it to a cousin or friend and get someone new started in this hobby. Can you verify this is an HO transformer?

I think the D-2000 is a HO/DC powerpack.

 I remember some posts about them in the past & They said they were a very good one. Also, they have a full sign wave that we need. Signusoidal.  You should be able to find it on a website , maybe MRC .

I am trying to work out a deal with someone and they are offering a MRC D-2000 Master Twinpack transformer. Does anyone know the specs on this, or where I could find a picture of it? I can't find one on ebay. I'm trying to decide if I want it.
