I don't know why they can't make 2 or 3 deck 89' open auto rack cars; always been puzzled about that. They could make 1:48 cars to go with them. Bet there's a market there for someone with resin casting skills

You will have to ask Jim Weaver at ATLAS O about the 89'-4" Auto Carriers since that is the only company that will make freight cars that long. Sure, other companies will make Locomotives that long, but not freight cars.

This isn't really one product but I would like to see Lionel make some PWC without the fancy gadgets and sell them at prices that compete with williams. All I need is Pullmore and a horn, (or whistle.)

Brent, Mavis was cancelled in favor of Diesel. Why? I dunno... After purchasing James, I'm leary. Thomas and Percy are ok, but James is very lightweight and not much of a puller. And he's too shortened. His proportions don't look right.

Yeah, James did look a little too out of proportion. Hopefully if they make more of the big engines (like Henry or Gordon) they'll look better than James does now. And on that note, maybe Edward or Henry should be made next.

  Oh, I got one. How about the train at the end of "Back to the Future III"? It could have some cool sounds and be the first toy train to fly!

Here is some ideas I would like to see manufactured in O scale.

1. We've paid our respects to railroads of the north and north of our border, but what about the railroads that lie south of our border? Some of the railroads operating in Mexico have owership here in the United States. For example Kansas City Southern de Mexico. Operates a line that links Mexico City to Lorado and Corpus Christi Texas. Or Ferromex which is 26% owned by Union Pacific. These would look good on layouts modeling the southwest, but can also be used a tool to attract and introduce hispanics to O scale.
2. American Folklore Engineer Casey Jones's locomotive. Yes, the Cannonball Express! Lead by Illinois Central #382 a 4-6-0 made by Rodgers Locomotive Works in 1896. Pulling a consist on protypical 1890 I.C. freight cars. A bio of "Casey Jones" and a picture of his engine can be found @ http://taco.com/roots/caseyjones.html.
3. Camden & Amboy Railroad #1 locomotive John Bull. Built in 1831. The 1st locomotive with a pilot wheel and cowatcher and one of the 1st to utlize a bell and whistle. The version of the loco that I would like to see produced is as it appeared in April 1893 @ the Columbian Exposition in Chicago. The enclosed tender which was standard tender used by the C.&A. Complete with passenger cars. This is also the tender that in 1930 the Pennsylvania RR reassembled and was exhibited with the loco in the Smithsonian.

        For what it's worth that is my 3 cents worth.
