Reggie,

Michaels sells casting resin. You don't need a particular brand. This site shows you how:

Dgraham, Thanks for the info!! I've taken apart my MTH water tower to use as a guide for one I'm going to attempt to scratch build. I'll keep you posted as I progress. If it fails, then at least I have this fella's address!!!Laugh [(-D]Big Smile [:D]

David, It's just one outdoor loop for now. Not much outdoor train running with the heat index running at 105 degrees!!!! Shock [:O]  We get more enjoyment out of it around late Fall.Smile [:)]

Man, NS and CN.  Exactly like mine.  Great job.  I'll be running NS on the lower level and CN on the upper [with some interchange mix].  Why CN up on upper level?  Canada is up North [even though they now get to NO]. Wink [;)]

Chief,  You could put a middle layer between NS and the Canadians.  You could have the tracks just dead end and run some gang car, just call in the Yankee Road to Nowhere Line. Black Eye [B)]  Or you could leave the rails barren and rusted, and just tell everyone that it's the yankee line and doesn't work.

Sign - Ditto [#ditto] My wife and I agree, marriage did not change us, kids changed us.  You can not fathom the difference of life with kids verses what it was before kids.  Those who know exactly how  a child should be raised, have never had them.  I had all the answers till the first one came along, then I just winged it and did my best.

Congrats Reggie. Well said, Dennis. Kids continue to change us - as the middle boy joins his sister in teen-age-hood, and the 4 year old acts his age.

thanks for the advice guys im looking forward to my first one. as i have 7 nieces and nephews i have done alot of raising those little rugrats and i loved it having to wake up and tend to the kids while/as the parents were and/or tired and i gave them a break to let them rest up, but its not like they are mine and i had to keep them forever, but just until they got them a little rest and free time. but like you said there is nothing like your own kids as i will be like my brothers and sisters and need a break for a little while just to regroup. thats one reason i waited so long to have any kids plus it was the way i was reared and brought up. but like they say there's nothing like having your own until you have your own. again thanks and i cant wait only 4 and a 1/2 monthes left to go.
