Does anyone know of good sources to find 1:43 or 1:48 furniture and/or accessories to outfit buldings etc.

I've used this kit: https://scalescenes.com/product/interior-detail/ of download and print paper (cardstock) furniture.  The kit comes as either 1:76 OO or 1:148 N scale.  I bought the OO and enlarged it for some of the interiors of the tallest building:

Those are MTH figures inside the tower which represents a shopping center with a movie theater and restaurants.  Note the Colonel:

The pics don't show it well but there are chairs and couches with multiple fabric options plus carpets and tapestries patterns that you can use for customizing.

Just courious, did you custom build the table and boothes in the restraunt shown in your last picture?

Yes.  I used the woodgrain textures (images) from some cabinets that come with the set to make custom pieces.

In the March 2009 issue I did an story about adding detail (including interior) to an MTH building. I used interior details (desk, chairs, bookcase) from Berkshire Valley. I think I got one or two pieces rom a local store and the rest on eBay.
