First off, welcome back Rene, you've been absent too long!

Second, nice selections from "The Railbenders,"  this is the first I've heard of them.

Third, here's a train song I wanted to link for everyone's enjoyment, but it wouldn't "light up,"  so I'm posting it here.  It's called "Iron Horse" and it's by an artist who goes by the name of Mean Mary James.  Her musicianship is just amazing!

Um, not so sure what's that has to do with train songs, but no matter.

We've discussed self driving cars on the "Trains" magazine Forum, and the general consensus of those posters "in the know", that is the mechanical and electrical engineers, is it's not going to happen, at least anytime soon.  The technology's just too new, not 100% reliable, and not totally understood.

Maybe someday in the future, but not now, despite what the driverless car and truck cheerleaders say.
