My kids and I watched a toy train video some months back with some former late night talk show host narrating it. The title song was "Lionel Trains". My daughter still sings it to this day when we run trains. Not a bad song, either.

For today's hobby, with all thats going on, lawsuits and such, my vote is "Sad But True" by Metallica.

Of course, "Mystery Train" by Elvis Presley is always good.

Train, train, sixteen coaches long . . .

"The Little Train of the Caipira" by Heitor Villa-Lobos, a tour de force in making a symphony orchestre sound like a steam locomotive.
