How to clean your smoker.

Like a ignorant Dummie. I put vegitable oil in the smoker instead of the smoker fluid.
After figuring out it was the wrong stuff to use, I got the correct fluid from the store and now it doesn't hardly smoke at all. It smokes but only at high speeds and you can hardly see it.

How do I get that old Veg. Oil out of the smoker?

My guess would that to get more responses you try posting this in theClassic TOY trains forum (don't worry, I almost made the same mistake myself). Perhaps the webmaster could separate the "Classic Trains" forum from the "Classic Toy Trains" forum by putting another, differently named forum between them.
As an answer to your question, I'm not really sure, but perhaps just running it at high speed for a long while (perhaps several sessions) to 'burn out the gunk' may be the solution. Is it a new one? Perhaps replacement will be the answer. I'm not sure what a mild degreaser would do, but perhaps using that, in conjunction with a good cleaning, may do the trick.
Good luck, whatever you decide!
