Little Rock Rock Island roundhouse and terminal

Northeast of the I-530, I-30, and I-440 interchange, lies what remains of the Biddle yard roundhouse, parts warehouse, endine facilties, offices, ,and a couple of trestles. No buildings stand, the turntable has been filled in, but all or most of the foundations still stand.  Someone has put in some bee hives. All the roundhouse tracks are there, but the pits have been filled in.  Two shallow pits still exsist, with rails still on top.  The area has a lot of wild grasses and few weeds, but is very accecible. You can view it from Google Earth, and covers at least 10 acres. To find it on Google Earth follow I-440 until you come onto the interchange, then go north, when you come up on the tracks, go right until you hit your destination. If you come up upon a road, stop.  The site is easily accessible, and is not fenced off.
