Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums.  This question will probably get more responses in the Model Railroader General Discussion forum.  This forum is aimed at of 40's-60's prototype railroading.  Sorry, I don't know the answer beyond the fact that OO is 1:76 and HO 1:87.1.

Enjoy

OO To HO passanger cars will it fit?
Posted by Buddah on Sunday, April 8, 2007 7:39 PM

Hello all I welcome any coments...

Well heres a question and a delima.. I have Im a big fan of modeling passanger trains and ive done everything I can think of in Amtrak and comuter lines so Ive moved on to Via rail. I've done a lrc train ( Cars from Rapido trains) and the normal Bud consist form the canadian but now im stuck I want to do the Renissance cars but no one makes them. thats where my Idea comes in!  no one in HO makes anything close to it but in OO scale Hornby makes the MK4 cars, which in real life the MK4s modified  are the the Renaissance cars. so If I buy one/ some from Hornby how will it look next to my HO stuff my amfleet, horizon fleet, etc. Id be doing a bit of extensive repainting and resin modifications to make US style couplers, and details but im willing to put the time into it. I just need to know before hand will these cars look semi acurate behind my F40s  or will they be to wide/ too long? thanks all....
