Lionel Southern Pacific HO scale 4-8-4 Daylight

A personal note of thanks to the fine folks who posted information about the Lionel Daylight in HO. I am not a died-in-the-wool model railroader - yet. But, I do wish to extend a personal note of gratitude to the members who posted the feedback regarding the Lionel/Bachmann HO Daylight. I won an eBay bid on a complete set. I am a Daylight freak but had no idea the original Daylight issue was such a dog. My "layout" amounts to no more than a collection of curved track circleing my zero clearance gas fired "wood stove". I have three IHC 4-4-0 engines and a soon to arrive Daylight. I have the info on the Bowser engine conversion and if my new (previously owned) Daylight proves to be a dog I will purchse the Bowser conversion. Thanks again and ain't the Internet great!

Clang clang, toot toot,

Bill
