CT SD24 Cutline p.94

Dear Classic Trains: Your cutline on page 94 about the SD24s is incorrect. You state all but 4 of the then new SD24s were built in 1959, not so. You also state that there were 224 SD24s built, which is true if you lump the 45 SD24Bs in with the 179 SD24s. For the record 58 of 179 SD24s were not built in 1959.

Production totals for the SD24 and SD24B by year are 1958-1 SD24; 1959 121 SD24s and 45 SD24Bs; 1960 56 SD24s; and 1963 1 SD24.
