Most of the postings here are about full sized trains and railroads that ran in years past. The Model Railroader forum would be a better choice to post your question. I think that after reorganization some years ago, AHM became IHC, International Hobby Corp. The modelers on the Model Railroader forum would be more up to date than I am.

my husband bought a train set at a yard sale this past weekend. It is all A.H.M, ho gauge, all in original boxes, even the box in which it was shipped in. But there are no dates anywhere. I have a:

cattle car - 5245-02 Union Pacific, made in Taiwan
open hopper, 5460-14 Lehigh Valley, made in Taiwan
ALCO Century 424, 5015 F Central of N.J., made in Austria
Caboose - 5340P Spirit of '76, made in Taiwan (looks to be newer then the others)
Southern Pacific Diesel Road Locomotive, F7A super pwr S P daylight, by athearn, scaled from official blue prints
mechanical refer - scott paper, 5242E-PB, made in Hong Kong
complete track and two transformers, one by A.H.M, and one by Tyco
any knowledge or assistance I can get on this is appreciated. I have searched the net over and cannot find anything on any of these items. Thank you so very much.
