Napa Valley Wine train is all that it is advertised to be and then some. Have made six trips so far and am about ready for another. It is not a repaet of the bus routes in the area. The food is everything you would expect. It is pricey but worth it.

Napa Valley Wine Train - Help please!

How spectacular is the Napa Valley Wine train???

I'm going on a short work related group trip to San Francisco next week. We're already locked into spending one full day on a wine country tour with the group. I have one open day to play with. I would love to see and go ride the train but that would mean seeing the same scenery twice and not having time to see most of the other area attractions.

If seeing and riding the train is a "life experience not to be missed" then to heck with everything else, I want to go!

If it's a "Well, it's a cool train but I wouldn't plan my trip around it" then I should probably let the wife choose where we go that day.

I don't see being back in that area anytime soon.

A "once in a lifetime experience", or just a "pretty cool deal if you can work it in"?

Any input greatly appreciated!!!!
