I found the following at http://www.thewhistlestop.com/Current/books.htm

"KC NW RR MP Northwest Author 2002 Quastlet New 30 54152"

Which is the book list of The Origional Whistle Stop, Pasadina CA
http://www.thewhistlestop.com/

Don't know anything about the book. It may be about a different railroad.

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

I suspected that might be the case[:(]

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I found this site[:)]

http://donsdepot.donrossgroup.net/dr665.htm

Unfortunately the "excellent history'" that it links to has not been completed (It says "will be completed in three days") and thus far does not answer your question[:(].

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

My Grandfather worked for the KC&NW . Thus far I have found they had at least two 2-8-0's (#1 and #6). THey had a 4-4-0 they purchased in 1903. THey also had a Mikado (#2). Does anyone have any information on any o fthe other engines?
Thanks,
Scott Smith
