TP & W 4-8-4s
Posted by Anonymous on Monday, January 30, 2006 12:06 PM
I'm looking for more specifications for the Northerns Don Ball described as the shyest in America. Wes Barris's site has some information that I used in my Locobase commentary (found on the same site). What I'd like is locomotive-diagram level stuff - tubes and flues counts and diameters, firebox heating surface, max axle loading. A TP& W diagram would be nice as well.

Can anyone help?

Thanks (and let me know what I can do in return).

OK, OK, you found me...!

Taluga: email me offlist, and I'll send you whant I can. While I don't have the erection drawings for the 80's, I do have the road's class diagrams, as well as dozens of photos.

"Orson" was the answer indeed. He supplied me with the TP&W diagram that gave me all the data I was looking for.

Thanks for the passalong,SSW9389!
