The reason you haven't received any responses is that this forum deals with prototype trains, not model trains. You'll probably have a better chance at getting a response if you post the same question on either the "Classic Toy Trains Forum" at:
http://www.trains.com/community/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=95

or on the "Model Railroader Magazine General Discussion Forum" at:
http://www.trains.com/community/forum/forum.asp?FORUM_ID=88

Good luck in getting a solution to your problem.

Regards

Ed

What to do about repair from K-line

I have a K-line Shay that lost its sound entirely. K-lines customer service doesn't know when or even if tech support and repair will return to work. Have you heard anything about the K-line situation and have any ideas on what to do?
