The dinifitive book is Southern Pacific Narrow Gauge by Mallery Hope Ferrell, publised by Pacific Fast Mail in 1982.

Amazon.com has two ussed copies listed

I tried to sell my two cents worth, but no one would give me a plug nickel for it.

I don't have a leg to stand on.

This is the museum town of Laws, on the C&C (SP). They have a great bookstore and I'm sure they would carry any book available that covers that line. I think I bought my RRs of Nevada and Eastern Cal southern roads book there.

THE book on this line (ex Carson & Colorado) and the rest of the railroads of that area is David Myrick's Railroads of Nevada and Eastern California. It's a 2 part book (one covers the northern area and the other covers the south). I think it was first published in 1962. It is still available I'm sure.

I don't know of anything on the net off hand.

Where can I get more information on Southern Pacific narrow gauge? I just read a part in a book about it and was wondering if there are any sites on the interent giving more information on this unigue line?
