The original negatives from the Baldwin Works went to Herbert Broadbelt. When he died, the collection was transferred to the Railroad Museum of Pennsylvania in Strasburg, right across the road from the Strasburg Railroad station. I don't know if these have been fully catalogued and made available as yet. You'll have to contact them.

Baldwin Works Photos.

Hi There,

I have recently purchased a works plate from a Baldwin 2-8-0 built in 1920. I would like to get a copy of the works photograph to display with the plate, does anyone know where I can go about getting such a photo. I DO know the works number - but just don't have it with me! I will reply to this mail later with more detail about the loco if anyone can help!??

Regards,

Stephen.
