You might also want to visit the civil war center site. They're at Louisiana State University and there is a wealth of material to be found there.

Kennesaw, Georgia, is the home of "The General"... and has an absolutely outstanding series of exhibits on the war. They are also the home of the Southern Railway Historical Society... their website is:
