What do you think about a thread devoted to posting daily rail related pictures? Just give credit where credit is due.Here's mine for today:
I found this in Jim Fitzgerald's gallery on rail images. It's called UAL/UP merger.

Thanks Markn. The Rock Island E6 and the E8 (coupled behind the E6) are still at the Midland Railway, an excursion railroad in Baldwin City, KS, which is about 45 minutes West of Kansas City. They have a website that lists their roster.

A MARC (Maryland Area Rail Commuter) GP40WH-2, along side a bi-level cab coach. I'm not sure, but if I remember correctly, it is a cab car.

Ya, know, I never thought of trains in Iraq until I saw these. This is a logo from the Iraqi Republic Railway.
