The real thing would be way out of my price range. I just want the look of the light, kind of hard to find the carbide that those lights burned to produce thier lighting. I am more looking for someone that can make up one from wood or sheet steel that is maybe half scale or even full scale possibly. Thanks Mike

Mike-
Check ebay frequently. I have seen some unique railroad items come up there. Another source would be the Colorado Railroad Museum in Golden. They have auctions a couple times a year to cull their collections. I saw a headlight there a couple of years ago.

Does anybody make reproduction locomotive headlights, full scale or half scale? I would love to have a replica of a Lima Arc Headlight, like the one that was on the ICRR #382 when J.L. Jones had his wreck. It wouldnt need to be lighed by the arc like the original, a small automotive light bulb would be sufficient. Any and all help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks Mike
