A friend of mine, long sense departed, collected antique trains. In his collection he had an electric train who's track spaceing was about 3 1/2 ". The cars were vwey crudely made as were the engine. It looked british in style. Could you tell me the gauge and approximate date of manufacture?

Please give us more info. Post some pictures, and reflect the question on the "Model Trains" forum. You might also list it in the 'Classic Toy Trains" forum. Then we can give it a gander.
