Judging by the screen name we'll assume your a woman, and that your not too familiar with model trains and looking to gather information for maybe a present for someone...though if its for yourself thats great!
Anyways....the newer versions of this locomotive with the smaller driver flanges are dollar for dollar money well spent,Now I'm not saying its the best out there but the only other BIG BOYs available are the real high dollar brass models,Well there is also a kit made by Bowser that is nice and a good runner if you have the expertise to build it.
Please give us a little more information and we can discuss this further.
