hi, me and my friend are making a model train set (i'v never done one before) and i was wondering if anyone could give me any cool ideas that don't cost too much please?

Welcome to the forums, guys. You can find a lot of help here, but this is the wrong one for what you need. Try reposting this on the Model Railroader forum.

also, you may want to narrow it down a bit...The era you are modeling, the railroad you are modeling..are you looking for ideas on scenery?...rolling stock?...electronics?...You will find alot of help in the model railroader forum, but just narrow it down.
