Train Wreck in Porter, Indiana

Does anyone know the details of a train wreck that occured in Porter, Indiana in teens or 20's, I believe it involved a circus train. Thanks

I remember reading about it in a old issue of Railroad Magazine.The circus train was stopped and was rear-ended by a freight train.The engineer of the freight was drowsey from medication,ignored the flagman.Not sure which railroad it happened on.
